2012 - A Message of Hope

I recently came across a video presentation called " 2012 - A Message of Hope ". It moved me more than I can say so I decided to dedicate this newsletter time and space to share it with you here. This beautiful work encompasses many things we talk about here so frequently: sound, vibration and healing; how important our own heart connection is in healing ourselves and restoring harmony with our earth mother; stillness of mind and meditation which is the key to everything else. To the creator of this work I say a profound "Thank you" for touching my heart so deeply. (the only name I know as the author of this work is mrrockitman)

As many of you already know, we usually have an affirmation prayer or guideline for meditation in this space. I found this beautiful video on how to meditate on the breath, so it seemed appropriate to include that here as well in place of our usual meditation. Enjoy!

As I was contemplating the appropriate song for this newsletter, there were two that came to mind very clearly. Given the times we are in I felt strongly moved to include them both. The first one, Thunder, from the album Thunder, was written and recorded in 1993-94. It was a very prophetic album for me as songs like Thunder were given by the thunder beings by showing me what was to come, thus bringing the shocks in consciousness that inspired the music. The I Ching describes thunder this way: "The shock that comes from the manifestation of God within the depths of the earth..." The guidance is to be the calm and stillness at the center of the storm, remaining composed and reverant so that we can see things exactly as they are and align ourselves with the Divine will. Through removing the oppositions to this Divine will, we set our lives in order and find our protection through our virtue in doing so.

May you find the clarity and strength to do so through any shocks and challenges you may face during these times.

Spiral of a Planet

From Threads of a Greater Tapestry

The second song I would like to share with you is called Spiral of a Planet from Threads of a Greater Tapestry - A Live Musical Presentation. I wrote this several years ago inspired by the bigger picture of what we as a planet are doing. Surely by now we can come to understand that the human race does not stand outside of or dominate anything. We are simply threads in this greater tapestry of creation. When will we learn just to love.

Well, as you've probably noticed by now, my website got another facelift! It is always my goal to make navigation easier and to make content easy to find. I'm also making some other updates as I go along, so I'll let you know as they unfold. For now, the menus are dropdown menus at the top of the page and categories have been simplified. Take a look around and get to know the new design.
